Can we work together if I am visiting or residing in other states?

Yes, we can absolutely hold virtual sessions if you are outside of Colorado, but legally, you must be physically located in a participating PSYPACT state at the time of our appointment. More than 40 different states participate! If we are working together and you live in Colorado, please inform me of your travel destination (whether it is a temporary trip or a permanent move) so I can verify our coverage! Do you offer sessions in-person or virtually?

I provide virtual therapy services exclusively, allowing for greater flexibility so you can fit sessions into your busy schedule. If finding a private, quiet space at home is a challenge, don't worry- we can work together to brainstorm safe and confidential spots for your sessions

What to expect in the first session?

The first session is all about connection. While I want to learn as much as possible about you, it’s also a chance for you to get to know me and see how we vibe. We will gather some history and talk about your goals to make sure we are a great fit. Not every therapist is a good match for every client! I like to say it’s a lot like jean shopping—not every pair will fit everyone perfectly!

How often will we meet?

We will plan to meet weekly to build a steady rhythm and consistent progress toward your goals. Therapy works best when it has a steady rhythm. Meeting every week allows us to dive deeper, stay connected to your current experiences, and practice new skills without feeling like we are constantly playing catch-up. As you start feeling more confident and begin reaching your milestones, we can absolutely discuss spacing our sessions out further. Therapy is a deeply collaborative partnership, and we will regularly check in to ensure our work truly serves you

What kind of therapy services do you offer?

I offer individual and couples therapy sessions! If we begin working together for individual sessions, I will not serve as your couples therapist (and vice versa). This clear boundary is a clinical best practice designed to protect your privacy, prevent conflicts of interest, and ensure that your therapy space remains completely objective and secure. What is your Cancellation Policy?

I require at least 24 hours advance notice to cancel appointments. If you notify me less than 24 hours before the appointment, you are required to pay the full cost of the session or meeting.

Are our sessions private/confidential?

YES! Your privacy and confidentiality are my highest priorities and my sacred responsibility. What you share with me stays safely with me. I want you to feel completely secure opening up here, knowing your trust is fully protected by law, as well as my own moral values. The only time I would ever need to break this confidentiality is if the law absolutely requires it to keep you or someone else safe. These rare situations include: Safety Concerns: If I believe you are in immediate danger of hurting yourself or someone else. Protecting the Vulnerable: If there is suspected abuse or neglect of a child, an elder, or a dependent adult. Legal Mandates: If a court of law orders me to release information. Outside of these specific safety exceptions, this is your private space. We can always talk more about how your privacy is protected whenever we meet.
